where to buy a pull starter for a 1/10 scale atomic warhead Nitro car?

    It is possible to use strong fishing line to fix your pullstart, but that means taking out the pullstart and having to fiddle around with the spring and I’ve never tried it so I’m not sure how well it works.
    Anyway, I found this replacement pullstart online…

    Your local hobby shop should have the cord for the recoil starter. If your hobby shop does not have it, then a local craft store should carry it. Its just a Nylon rope about 1/8 wide, there is nothing fancy about the cord. It should cost you about $2, or you can spend $30 for a new recoil starter

    They are not hard to re-cord.
    Here is a video on how to re-wind the spring.
